Faye Hartburt and Richard Bloomfield attended the Suffolk Youth Climate Conference on behalf Greener Ipswich. It was held at Suffolk One in Ipswich and there were many local green organisations and charities in attendance.
The conference attendees were keen to hear about the green trail through the town centre and everyone was very supportive of the plans.
Faye Harburt commented, “It was fantastic to meet some like-minded Suffolk organisations and to speak to many young people about Greening up their local towns and cities. The event has really helped put Greener Ipswich on the map”.
Chris Packham gave a talk to the conference and made sure to speak to as many people as he possibly could – his enthusiasm for all the projects was great appreciated by everyone.
